24 REFUNDABLE: You can cancel or modify your reservation anytime up to 24 hours before you arrive. A cancellation fee applies and varies from 5% to 10% depending on how many days’ notice you provide in advance of your arrival. There is no fee to modify a reservation unless a refund is provided. Guests booking the all-inclusive platinum package will incur a $200 gift shop fee if canceled within 72 hours to cover the cost of perishable items that are included with your Stay.
14 DAY REFUNDABLE: You can cancel up to 14 days before your arrival, or modify your reservation up to 7 days before your arrival. A 5% cancellation fee applies. There is no fee to modify an existing reservation unless a refund is provided.
NONREFUNDABLE: You may not cancel, modify (except to add nights), or reschedule your reservation. No refunds will be provided.

The hotel is located in a scenic area overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. Note: Due to the dramatic high bluff, there is no direct beach access from the property; the closest sand beach is Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge about 10 minutes’ drive away. You can enjoy hiking (varies from 10 minutes to 2 hours away), biking (bikes delivered to hotel), kayaking (45 minutes away), whale watching (15 minutes away), golfing (10 minutes away), fishing (varies from 15 minutes to 2 hours away), and skiing (30 minutes away) nearby. You can also visit the Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge (15 minutes away), Lake Crescent (45 minutes away), Sol Duc Hot Springs (55 minutes away), Dungeness Spit (10 minutes away), Port Townsend (45 minutes away), Port Angeles (10 minutes away), Sequim (10 minutes away), Cape Flattery (2 hours away), Rialto Beach/Forks/Hoh Rainforest (2 hours away).
There is no single gate at Olympic National Park and you cannot drive through the park, only around it to access 13 different gates and trailhead parking areas around the park. The park is enormous, and it takes a minimum of 8 hours to drive around the park at highway speeds without stopping. The majority of attractions in the park are located around Port Angeles, Lake Crescent, and Forks. In addition to the national park, there is a national wildlife refuge, national forest, national marine sanctuary, and several state, county, and indigenous tribal parks. To comfortably see the area and all the attractions and sights without feeling rushed, we recommend a minimum of 4 to 5 nights, but you can see the main highlights in two very long days, staying 3 nights.
From Port Angeles, the Blackball ferry operates the MV Coho ferry to Victoria BC (90 min ferry crossing) where you can enjoy day trips or a quick overnight to see the major highlights there using public transportation, your rental car, and tour buses from the ferry terminal and nearby.
The hotel has no restaurant or dining room. Meals and snacks may be enjoyed in your room or at one of the many comfortable dining spots around the gardens and fire pit. You may include a discounted platinum meal pass with your reservation, which includes 3 meals and 2 snacks per person per day from our 24/7 lobby grab and go shop. Alternatively, you may choose to purchase a discounted shop credit at the time you book your reservation, or you may choose to pay a la carte via cash or credit card during your stay.

The self-serve shop is open 24/7 and includes a rotating assortment of seasonal gourmet options including Belgian waffles, oatmeal, egg bites, bagels with smoked salmon, breakfast burritos, gyro sandwiches, potstickers, pot pies, lasagna, ice cream sandwiches, snacks, protein bars, candy, iced mochas and lattes, local sodas, sparkling water, beer, and wine. The hotel also has a fenced private pet area where your dog can play off leash. You need to keep your pet on a leash or in a carrier at all times outside of your room or fenced pet garden and clean up after them.
