GETTING HERE
WE’RE PERFECTLY SITUATED TO EXPLORE THE OLYMPIC PENINSULA – JUST 2 HOURS FROM SEATTLE
HERE ARE SOME SIMPLE (AND SCENIC) WAYS TO GET TO US
OUR ADDRESS:
Of course, you can simply enter our address into Google Maps or your own navigation system and follow the directions. Below is some additional information to help you plan your trip.
FROM SEA-TAC AIRPORT
If you are coming directly to us from the airport, the best choice is to drive all the way.
Pick up your rental car and use WA-518 E to take I-5 S to Tacoma.
Follow I-5 S, WA-16 W and WA-3 N to WA-104 W, then merge onto US-101 W.
Expect to travel the 122 miles in about 2 hours and 15 minutes under normal conditions.
We don’t recommend taking the Seattle/Bainbridge Island ferry.
You’d save 35 miles of driving, but you’ll need to head up to Seattle and get to the terminal right on time.
If you miss the boat, it may add up to an extra hour waiting for the next sailing.
Dash Air Shuttle provides private charter flights to Port Angeles from Seattle.
Learn more below.
Note: The Olympic Peninsula has limited bus, taxi and rideshare services.
We strongly suggest renting a car if you are not driving your own vehicle.
FROM DOWNTOWN SEATTLE
If you’re already in Downtown Seattle, you may either drive or take the ferry.
If you choose to drive, take I-5 S past the airport and drive the 132 miles in about 2 and a half hours as detailed above.
Or in the same time, you may take the Seattle/Bainbridge Island ferry and save 57 miles of driving.
Check the sailing schedule at wsdot.wa.gov/Ferries and arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure.
The fare for a typical car, driver, and 1 passenger is between $21 – $25 for the 35 minute crossing.
When you disembark in Bainbridge, take WA-305 N to WA-3 N to WA-104 W, then merge onto US-101 W.
FROM EASTERN WASHINGTON / SPOKANE
Take I-90 West through Snoqualmie Pass to WA-18 West to I-5 West through Tacoma.
Then head north to US-101 West. Expect a travel time of just over 6 hours to go 388 miles from Spokane.
